Emmys Set Date for 2025 Ceremony

As Oscar season has come to a close, one doesn’t wait another day for Emmy season to begin! And we finally have a date for the 77th annual Primetime ceremony, which will air on CBS and Paramount+.

The Television Academy has announced that the awards will be celebrated on Sunday, September 14, from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for over three hours starting at 8pm ET. It will mark the second time the Emmy awards are returning to its regular September broadcast, after the 2023 ceremony was pushed to January 2024 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Nominations will be unveiled on July 15, but no host has currently been announced. Additionally, the Creative Arts Emmys will be celebrated a week earlier, on two separate nights, September 6 and 7.

More details on the upcoming broadcast will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
