Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph to Announce Emmy Nominations

As phase one of Emmy voting was completed this past Monday, the Television Academy has announced that actors Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale are set to present the Emmy nominations on Wednesday July 17 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. A live stream will be available to view on the Television Academy website.

In a statement, Television Academy chair Cris Abrego said, “While this year has been marked by significant challenges for our industry and its workforce, there has been an abundance of remarkable programs, extraordinary performances and impactful storytelling. Great television relies on the contributions of so many, and we are delighted to have Tony and Sheryl help us acknowledge excellence across our field as we embark on a season of tremendous celebration.”

Nominations will air at 8:30am PT/11:30am ET, with the live Emmys telecast to be presented on ABC on Sunday, September 15.
