Teaser Trailer Released for Richard Linklater’s ‘Nouvelle Vague’ as the Film Premieres at Cannes

Earlier today, as the movie was premiering to strongly positive reactions at the Cannes Film Festival, a teaser trailer was released for Nouvelle Vague. Directed by Richard Linklater, it’s a look at how Jean-Luc Godard’s made his 1959 New Wave classic Breathless. Linklater shot the picture in black and white, keeping with the aestetic of Breathless. The movie stars Guillaume Marbeck as Jean-Luc Godard, Zoey Deutch as American star Jean Seberg, and Aubry Dullin as Jean-Paul Belmondo.

This is the story of Godard making ”Breathless”, told in the style and spirit in which Godard made “Breathless”.
